The Monster March
In our neighborhood, the Sunday before Halloween is an exciting day for all; it is the Monster March. It is a costume parade for everyone in the neighborhood; kids march, parents march, babies are carried, tots are scooted along, and dogs march. Neighbors and merchants stand along the streets handing out candy, the middle school band plays, and the police escort. It is amazing to see hundreds of kids in costumes pouring out of their houses to take their places in the parade!

Ahh, the kids looked so cute. You should have dressed in a costume too! But your outfit was cute.
