L- lovely, little letter

Jack has always pronounced his "L's" as "W's". Last week, (wast week) I was showing Jack how to pronounce the letter "L" by making sure your tongue touched the back of the top teeth. He was really working on it, and trying hard, but was having a difficult time getting his tongue to cooperate. Well, we went off to school, and I forgot all about our "L" lesson. A week later, as Jack was coming down the stairs he turned to me and said perfectly, "Laura, I Love you." What a lovely, little letter!

You inspired me to work on Charlie's "th". We were playing catch and he kept saying, "frow it". Amazingly enough, after just one intentional try he got it! Now we just need to tackle the Rs! -jennifer
